At interrlab, we design and manage post-disciplinary innovation projects and processes. Our work spans the full spectrum: from activating territorial ecosystems and fostering awareness to building capacity and piloting collaborative formats such as art/science residencies. We curate the entire cycle: from co-design to public presentation and legacy-building. Based in Milan and Grenoble, we operate through a growing international network of institutions committed to sustainable, inclusive approaches to innovation.
Ecosystem & Capacity Building
interrlab supports the development of skills and frameworks for managing post-disciplinary collaborations. We design and deliver capacity-building programs for institutions, curators, project managers and innovation actors. These programs include awareness-raising initiatives, workshops, and networking activities aimed at activating local and translocal ecosystems capable of sustaining visionary, cross-sector collaboration.
Innovation Catalysts
We coordinate and manage art-science-tech residency programs in collaboration with research institutions, universities and scientific organizations. Acting as innovation catalysts, we design the collaborative process, support co-creation and ensure that the outcomes are captured and communicated through tailored reporting and legacy-building tools. Our goal is to maximize both creative impact and knowledge transfer across domains.
Research on Generative Innovation
interrlab engages in research on visionary and generative innovation beyond disciplinary boundaries. We investigate how post-disciplinary approaches can lead to transformative processes, structural change, and new imaginaries. Our research combines theoretical analysis with practice-based insight, contributing to emerging discourse on innovation futures and cultural policy.
